Fundacion Pies Descalzos
The "Pies Descalzos" Foundation aims to offer opportunities to displaced and vulnerable children in Colombia.In 1997, the Colombian singer Shakira set up the "Pies Descalzos" Foundation to offer the best opportunities to disadvantaged children in Colombia. As a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, she put herself forward as their spokesperson. In Colombia, more than 800,000 children live in situations of poverty and violence.
