The Princess Sirindhorn Foundation supports 60 socio-educational centres in Thailand. The Foundation develops educational programmes in support of disadvantaged children in partnership with Unesco. In Omkoï, a district of Chiang Maï province, in northern Thailand: - Only 4% of land is suitable for farming. - There are no public services. - There is no electricity or supplies of running water and roads are in an extremely poor condition.
