Founded in 1994, Association Jeunes Errants aims to:
- Accommodate and provide guidance to migrant street children
- Generate support from institutions on this issue
- Foster the return of isolated migrant children to their families, wherever possible.
Background: Isolated migrant children roaming the streets of European towns are, for the most part, from southern or eastern Europe and North Africa. They have set out in search of an economic Eldorado, fled a conflictual family situation, or are trying to join a parent who has already emigrated and who, they believe, will be able to accommodate them.
