Geographic criteria
The Carrefour Foundation supports local non profit associations which act in countries where Carrefour is located :
> France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece/Cyprus, Italy, Poland, Romania and Turkey
> Argentina, Brazil and Colombia
> China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and India
Criteria concerning the project
Only actions having a concrete and long-term objectives corresponding to the missions of the Carrefour Foundation will be considered:
. Food programme : enable those who are vulnerable to have access to a safe and varied diet
Examples of projects: social food groceries, programmes against malnutrition…
. Professional integration : improve the job prospects of the socially excluded
Examples of projects: professional training to become bakers, microcredit programs…
. Solidarity : provide an adapted response to the most needy in emergency situations and combat social exclusion in daily life
Examples of projects: donation of food and non-food products following a national disaster, help for the homeless...
Will not be considered :
> Requests for financial aide for individual projects (humanitarian student projects…)
> Requests for support for the organisation of conferences, events, cultural actions….
> Requests for sponsorship (4L Trophy,…)
