The opening of the Thessaloniki Social Grocery
In response to the increasing needs of indigent families residing in large Municipalities of Greece, Carrefour Group Marinopoulos created a third social grocery in Thessaloniki.
The opening of the Thessaloniki Social Grocery was held on Thursday , December 17, 2009 and the inauguration ceremony was performed by Mr Vassilis Papageorgopoulos, Mayor of Thessaloniki; Mr Asterios Deligiannis, Deputy Mayor; and Mr Vassilis Stasinoulias, CEO of Carrefour Group Marinopoulos.
The creation of a new social grocery contributes actively to the improvement of the living conditions of beneficiaries. It results from an impeccable collaboration between the Carrefour Marinopoulos people and Municipality employees
