The association helps micro-entrepreneurs, supporting the creation of businesses and jobs for people excluded from the job market by granting them micro-credit and providing assistance to young designers.

A partner since 2006, the Carrefour International Foundation has decided to increase its support to ADIE between 2008 and 2010 to help it expand the "CréaJeunes" project, which helps young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to enter the job market.

The "CréaJeunes" project is aimed at young people aged 18-25, and provides them with assistance in creating and starting up their own businesses. After 1-4 months' initial training in a small group, the young people are supervised individually and take part in programmes whereby they are immersed in a business environment.

The Foundation supports ADIE's "CréaJeunes" project by financing the assistance provided to designers, at the same time encouraging the expansion of the programme in six French cities: Paris (Saint Denis), Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse and Lille/Roubaix/Tourcoing). In parallel, Carrefour employees are involved in offering business immersion courses or on-site training.
