In a global context where unemployment, exclusion and job insecurity are increasing and threatening social cohesion, associations have developed the model of Professional Integration Organisations, allowing people who are far from employment, to find a place in society and to live in dignity from their own work. Present in more than 15 sectors, these organisations offer them to develop new and specific skills while accompanying them in their search for a long term employment. The CNEI is the spokesman and defensor of the social and economic usefulness of these structures on a national scale. Its role is to accompany their development and mutualise their experience for promoting the access to long term employment of people in social and professional difficulty.

The Carrefour Foundation supports the coordination work lead by the association amounting to 60 000€ in 2011. Carrefour will also participate in creating bridges back to work for employees in professional integration.
