The region of Nonthaburi, a tourist destination in Thailand, was put in a state of maximum alert because of major flooding, which increased at an alarming rate from the end of September to early October. After providing preliminary humanitarian aid to people affected by the flooding in northern Thailand, teams from Carrefour Thailand and the Carrefour International Foundation helped provide the necessary emergency aid to affected communities. The aid supplied by the Carrefour International Foundation amounted to a total of 65,000 euros.
