Taiwan : Giving food support to poor taiwanese families with Red Cross China
The Carrefour Foundation and Carrefour stores in collaboration with the Chinese Red Cross provide food for unprivileged families living in Taiwan.

In 2010, the Carrefour Foundation and Carrefour Taiwan decided to make a partnership with the Chinese Red Cross to help lower class’s families living in the islands. Some of the 30 stores of Taiwan involved themselves to make dishes and gather basic products to redistribute them to 1000 families for Christmas. 200 volunteers will work in collaboration to help those people otherwise living in precarious conditions. The Foundation subsidizes the project up to 30 000 €, and the field operations will be lead by volunteers including employees of Carrefour.
