Carrefour Poland's teams scoop two awards!
On 29 March and 5 April, the Carrefour Group won two prestigious prizes. Firstly, Carrefour was awarded the prize for the best store chain in the "Multiformat Network" category, as voted for by FMCG suppliers. Then it was awarded the panel's prize in the "SCF Retailers' Awards" in the "New Retail Concept of the Year" category.
190 representatives from the FMCG sector voted for the winner of the 2016 Retailer of the Year competition following the Nielsen poll.
This is a particularly precious title to hold – it was awarded based on suppliers' votes – and they are among the retailer's most important partners. In particular, they very much appreciated the investments that had been made over the previous year and the effectiveness of Carrefour's infrastructure.
The network's reputation and promotional campaigns, cooperation in developing business activity, business conditions and the collaboration that takes place all along the length of the supply chain were among the criteria assessed.
On 5 April at the spring edition of the Shopping Centre Forum, the Carrefour Group was once again in the spotlight at the SCF Retailers’ Awards. Carrefour Poland won the "New Retail Concept of the Year" award – thanks in particular to the modern sales concepts deployed at the Posnania hypermarket and at the Białołęka Premium supermarket in Warsaw.
