A 3rd hypermarket opens on Reunion Island
The Bernard Hayot Group, one of Carrefour’s franchise partners, opened its third Carrefour hypermarket on Reunion Island on 11 July in the presence of Georges Plassat.
Located in the town of Saint Pierre, the “Canabady” Carrefour has a sales area of 5500 m². It has 29 check-outs – 4 of which are self-service – and parking facilities for 1100 cars.
The store opened its doors to customers on Friday, 12 July 2013 at 8:30 AM.
The Bernard Hayot Group now runs 11 stores – 9 Carrefour hypermarkets, 1 supermarket and 1 Drive – located in the West Indies, French Guiana, Reunion Island and the Dominican Republic.
