Carrefour is striving to step up its involvement to fight against climate change
The Copenhagen Summit on climate change will run from 7 to 18 December.
The Carrefour Group supports and is actively involved in the UN-led “Seal the Deal” Campaign which aims to galvanise governments into reaching an effective, ambitious and equitable agreement during the Summit.
As the summit gets under way, the Carrefour Group is setting itself an even more ambitious target: a 30% reduction in energy consumption/sq.m of sales area between now and 2020 (vs. 2004), as opposed to the previous objective of a 20% reduction.
