The 100th CarrefourSA Expres supermarket opens its doors in Ankara
CarrefourSA, the joint venture between the Carrefour Group and its partner Sabanci, is continuing its investment activities in the Turkish supermarket sector. On January 26, CarrefourSA Expres introduced a new concept when it opened the doors of its 100th store, which occupies 1160 m2 in the Minasera leisure shopping centre in Ankara.
Open 7 days a week from 9.00am to 10.00pm and with 9 checkouts, this new addition to the CarrefourSA Expres chain embodies a new concept, oriented towards providing an enjoyable shopping experience, product quality and - of course - services (customer information desk, long opening hours etc) delivered by 49 employees.
Located in Ankara's first "lifestyle" shopping centre, the CarrefourSA Expres store stocks more than 13,000 different products, including a wide range of organic and foreign goods (some 1,500 references). Customers of the store will be able to buy the freshest of produce at very affordable prices. Offering a wide range of brands and products, the store also focuses on own-brand products, providing good quality and reasonable prices.
Distinctive features of the store are its "gourmet" import department, top-quality seafood and the Divan patisserie, which sells products baked on the premises.
