With Carrefour Express, Carrefour customers will have a store where they can pick up convenience items under the Carrefour banner.
This new 100 to 250 sq.m concept will be located in both urban and rural areas, and will offer customers a graded assortment of some 3,500 items.
Carrefour Express will meet all consumer emergency and convenience shopping requirements and will have long opening hours: 8 AM to 9 PM/10 PM (Paris) and Sunday mornings.
Three test stores opened during the last monthes :
- Opened since december 1st, Carrefour Express Caen extends over a sales area of 169m² and has 3 cashiers.
- Opened since January 19th, Carrefour Express Caen extends over a sales area of 168m² and has 2 cashiers.
- Since February 1st, Paris also opened his(her) first Carrefour Express in the Vth district.
