On December 25, 2009, Carrefour China inaugurated one new store: Yang Xi. Located in Chengdu, this store offers sales area of 7.005 sqm,
37 checkouts and spacious parking area which can accommodate 108 cars.

On December 28, 2009, Carrefour China inaugurated Majiapu store. Located in Beijing, this store offers sales area of 5.997 sqm, 41 checkouts and spacious parking area which can accommodate 350 cars.

There are now 150 Carrefour hypermarkets in China.
