Pierre-Jean SIVIGNON, a French national, began his career in 1979 with Peat Marwick Mitchell as an external auditor. From 1982 to 2001, he held various financial and operational positions in France and abroad with Schlumberger Limited. Among those, he served as Group Treasurer in New York and Paris. From 2001 to 2005, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Committee member of Faurecia. In 2005, he joined Royal Philips Electronics in Amsterdam as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Member of the Board of Management. In 2010 he received an award as the Netherlands’ CFO of the Year. Pierre-Jean SIVIGNON is a graduate of ESSEC.
On 4 August, Pierre-Jean Sivignon was named to the Executive Board of the Carrefour Group as Chief Financial Officer. He will assume his duties on September 1, 2011.
