Eric LEGROS, a French national, joined the Carrefour Group in 1994 as Director of the Non-food sector (Carrefour Merchandise International – CMI). From 1998 to 2002, he served as Merchandise and Supply Chain Director of Carrefour Spain. He then served as Executive Director of Carrefour Argentina for four years. In March 2006, he was appointed Executive Director of Carrefour China and in January 2007, he also became President of Carrefour China. On 28 July 2008, he was appointed to Carrefour Group’s Executive Committee as Executive Director China and Taiwan.
On 22 August 2011, Eric LEGROS is appointed Executive Director in charge of Group Merchandise, a newly created position within the Carrefour Executive Board. He will be in charge of food and non-food merchandise. This appointment will take effect in April 2012.
