On November 7 and 11, 2008, Carrefour China inaugurated two new stores: Chuan Sha and  Taiping Road Store.

Located in the city of Mudanjiang in the northeastern of the country, Taiping Road Store offers sales area of 6,855 sqm, 25 checkouts and spacious parking area which can accommodate 160 cars.
Located in Shanghaï, Chuan Sha Store offers sales area of 8,497 sqm, 45 checkouts and spacious parking area which can accommodate 450 cars and 700 motorcycles.
