Sell of one hyper to Auchan
Carrefour sells one hypermarket to Auchan group
The Carrefour Group hereby announces the signing of a plan to sell to the Auchan Group its hypermarket located at Villetaneuse in Seine Saint Denis [7,500 m²]. The transfer will be effective as of January 2, 2001.
In the context of its merger with Promodès, the Carrefour Group made an agreement with the antitrust authorities of France to reduce its chain of stores by 8 hypermarkets and 26 supermarkets.
Last October 13, Carrefour announced the sale of 4 hypermarkets and 14 supermarkets to Atac.
