Leased to Hyparlo
Two hypermarkets in France are leased to Hyparlo
Following the agreement of the European Commission authorizing the merger of Carrefour and Promodès, and in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry of the 5th July 2000, Carrefour will terminate the franchise contracts it had with the hypermarkets of Bourges (Cher-France) and Chasse sur Rhone (near Lyon, Isère-France), two stores belonging to the Hyparlo group.
In exchange, Carrefour will lease (location-gérance) to Hyparlo its hypermarkets of Orange (Vaucluse-France) and Saint Egreve (Isere-France).
This agreement will be effective by the end of January 2001, after receiving the advice of the personnel representatives of the companies concerned. .
