CARREFOUR takes over ESPIRITO SANTO's stake in Carrefour Portugal
After a successful association of almost 10 years, ESPIRITO SANTO Resources Limited, the holding company for the non-financial sector of the Espirito Santo Group has decided to sell to the Carrefour group its stake in Carrefour Portugal.
The Carrefour group will now control over 99% of Carrefour Portugal. Carrefour Portugal operates five hypermarkets in Portugal with € 329m in sales in 2000.
